The ISLPS 2016 will be held at the Kingdom Hotel, the Optical Valley, Wuhan, Hubei Province, June 09-10, 2016.
1. Objectives and contents
Recent space missions to our solar system bodies including the LRO, Kaguya, M3, Chang’E series, Dawn, Hayabusa, Rosetta, Stardust-NExT, Cassini and others have greatly advanced our knowledge about the Moon and the solar system. This international symposium aims at the international academic exchange on the topics of processing, analysis, research and applications of lunar and planetary exploration data. The symposium brings together international specialists in petrology, geochemistry, geophysics, and geology to present the latest results of research in planetary science.
The two-day symposium will be organized by topical symposia and problem-oriented sessions.
The scope of this symposium includes, but not limited to:
Lunar and planetary compositions
Lunar and planetary topography and gravity
Lunar and planetary surface processes
Lunar and planetary impact
Lunar and planetary chronologies
Origin and evolution of the Moon and planets
Planetary atmospheres
Meteorites and cosomochemistry
Asteroids and comets
Planetary magnetic fields and plasmas
Exoplanets: detection, characterizations and habitability
Future deep space missions
2. Abstract submission
Authors are invited to submit an abstract in the form of an electronic file in WORD format to the following email address before the April 15th, 2015.

3. Publication: All accepted abstracts will be presented in the symposium as Oral or Poster presentation, and a special issue in an English journal is under planning.

6. Registration Fee
For non-students participants ………………1500.00 RMB/250US$

7. VISA application: To request a participant letter for visa purposes, conference participants are urged to request their visas early as there are often delays in this process. Questions should be directed to Dr. Jun Huang at junhuang@cug.edu.cn.
8. Hotel: The ISLPS2016 will be held at the Kingdom Hotel, the Optical Valley, Wuhan. As many of you have probably noticed, ISPLS 2016 falls on the week of June 09–10. While these dates correspond to the week following up to the National College Entrance Examination, the Kingdom Hotel at the Optical Valley did provide us with optimal (if not ideal) arrangements with hotel rooms and conference site. This hotel is a five star hotel with high standard of accommodations. The contract price between the hotel and ISPLS will be ¥420/night (~65 US$/night) for a two-bed room, and ¥450/night (~70 US$/night) for a king-bed room. We highly recommend attendees to ISPLS 2016 choosing this hotel.
